People - check out his fusion demo from his high school days with the band Symmetry - he sounds like Allan Holdsworth meets Alex Lifeson meets Takahiro Izutani (Happy Family). A very cool peek at the early development of a guy who keeps surprising me in an audio way time after time. Those guys were playing in a pro level during the high school years - very impressive.

I like the track about streetcars. The town I live
in dismantled the streetcar system so it's a little
close to home, a soundtrack to urban corruption.

it took me years to find you and..
well when i was in college back in about 92, my friend corresponded with you and you sent him a tape of really amazing music. i still have that tape and wanting to know more about you i searched the internet often and didn't find anything about you. i finally found you at guitar oblique not long ago and as soon as i do...you disappeared. where in the world is Dan Stearns???

One thing that immediately strikes me is these selections sound very human to me... not so much computer generated asteroids backing track noise. And whether by design or luck the sense of movement (in those I've listened to) sounds well thought out. I like what I've listened to.
