Biography
Buffalo born singer, audio mixer and songwriter David Pascucci (scooch pascooch) primarily considered a singer putting his own heart and soul into mostly obscure or lost and forgotten songs. Graduating from the Fredonia School of Music in NY in 1985 where he majored in Theory/Music Composition and Voice. David's main focus became presenting songs as real and as truthful as possible, 'as if you're having an intimate conversation with someone and the audience is listening in on it'. He dabbled in acting classes in college and wanted to apply those techniques to his performance of songs. 'To me, the lyric should be the main focal point of the song....not the music, the voice or the songwriter. It's the words you are saying to someone else that create the foundation of the existence of the whole song....except the words simply have notes attached to them. Otherwise, it's mere vocal exercise and might as well be an instrumental'.
David has an album released called 'Inside Andre Previn' and is an eclectic collection of songs from the late 50's and 60's written by Dory and Andre Previn from the classic films Inside Daisy Clover and Valley of the Dolls, plus various film and 'pop' songs from the collaborating team. 10 of the songs were recorded at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood, CA backed by a 20 piece orchestra, and 8 songs accompanied by a trio recorded at Entourage Studios in Burbank, CA. The CD is now for sale on-line. It is also available for Digital Downloading on MusicNet, Apple iTunes and MusicIsHere and 30 other downloading sites.
