I've been contacted by 3 different producers in Cali and have been invited to do some shows in Wash.,NYC, and Japan. I've always seen you on zebox and noticed all the comments you get so I checked out your music and well it's nothing special. You have some pretty weak and cheesy sounding bass and beats especially on "24KT Arabian Gold" and your rapping is around average, my 12 year old nephew honestly raps a lot better, so basically I'm saying your ok but nothing special. I just found out about you a few days ago and you've got an incredible voice masha Allah! I'm not into the rap music a lot and can't stand the Mizmar thingie in Yemeni music, but i really liked your style, especially ur song Yemen. I got a teenie constructive criticism so don't take it harshly :) I was really suprised at the way you were talking about muhajabat and how yemeni men actually find that appealing. Now, i chose to wear the hijab just a few days ago and what you talked about was defenitely not the reason i put it on. So it just seems a little weird for me to hear that although after asking friends i realized that you were just talking about the Yemeni mentality, which i thought was not proper considering who we wear the hijab for...
I was also a bit suprised the way you portrayed Yemenis in the west since i am probably the only Yemeni in this city and haven't interacted with any Yemenis, but i realized from a friend that you were representing the reality of Yemenis in the west (Michigan specifically), which is sad but true.

Hey there, it's me. AJ has been doing this for a few years now. He has 2 CD's released and another on the way. We're working on getting him major exposure in the states, but because this is a very competitive industry you have to know the right people to get your foot in the door. First of all I agree it is hard to have a positive image of muslims when radicals are saying things like this, but does that make you any better to label all Arabs and Muslims as being crazy? Every culture has their "radicals" or "crazy" people as you like to call it.
Second, don't say we don't have friends outside the muslim world, because most of our friends are Americans. It's ignorant people such as yourself who make this world a hard place to live in. And who gives a s**t about gaining control of Israel? We, as Arabs just want what is rightfully ours and the Israeli govt. needs to stop terrorizing and killing innocent civilians and running them out of their homes and cities.

Massiv Effay I have some Palestinian friends who are in Palestine and I feel for you. Insha Allah you and your family will continue to be safe and things will get resolved. No one knows what its really like unless they live there. People are just getting one side of the story...the medias side. First of all, nobody is bad mouthing the Jews or their kids. Hazig, thank you for your apology. Hilmy is harmless and just expressing his frustration and anger with what's going on today. I feel that anyone can be heard, its just a matter of how you handle the situation and how you choose to be heard and acknowledged. I also feel that what is going on should be handled intelligently and diplomatically, but unfortunately both sides have leaders that are slightly on the radical side and they both feel that the only way to handle this is through violence. It is unfortunate that they have resorted to such levels of inhumane behavior and honestly I feel that it is a personal issue between the two sides and neither one recognizes the damage this is causing their people.
The only solution is to educate ourselves and our children and hope that they grow up to make the decisions that the previous generations failed to make. The right decisions...the humane decisions...and above all A PEACEFUL ONE. Insha Allah, all of this will be resolved in due course and there won't be any more innocent lives, whether it be ARABS or JEWS, Muslims or Christians, whatever their background or religious belief, suffering at the cost of political grief.

AJ knows good music that's why he is who he is. And for your information AJ wanted to do a Romeo and Juliet style song about true love. I think that girl adds a nice touch to his song and I believe that the only reason you think she's "wack" is because you don't understand what the hell she's saying.
