Leo Alves Vieira Bio:
Brazilian Composer, Born in February 13th, 1978. Composer of many soundtrack pieces in Rio de Janeiro, for theatrical and movie plays since 1994, Leo Alves Vieira has been writing for many other instrument formations in the 'academic' scene since 2001. His debut as a composer was at the XV Biennial of Brazilian Contemporary Music, 2003, with the piece "Estilhaços-Constante Volta ao Indeterminado" (2002) for acoustic and electronic instruments, played by OFELEX.
His debut cd, "Sounds of the Orange Coloured Forest" is planned for release in July 2006 by Pralaya Records.

"Estilhaços-Constante Volta ao Indeterminado" (2002) for acoustic and electronic instruments, played by OFELEX at the XV Biennial of Brazilian Contemporary Music, 2003.
"Alguma Coisa Octo..." (2002) for solo oboe. Played by composer and oboist Leonardo Fuks.
"Adamantium" (2004) for piano-percussion duo. Played in workshop by french percussionist Thierry Miroglio and romanian pianist Ancuza Aprodu, in 2004
"Glosas" (2003) for soprano, flute and guitar. Players: Fabrício Schlee Ayler (Guitar), Paloma Almeida (Soprano) e Ulisses Amaral (Flute)

Leo Alves Vieira debut album to be released at New York and Internet this month.
Sounds of the Orange Coloured Forest, debut full-lenght from Brazilian Composer Leo Alves Vieira, will be released until the end of august 2006, by Pralaya Records from Brooklyn, New York. Stay tuned! It's going to be in Brooklyn and NYC stores and also purchased at www.pralayarecords.com.
The record brings Leo's electroacoustical production from 2003 till january 2006. It was record at Tomba Records Studio and masterized at Marmorno Records, at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The amazing artwork was made by Pedro Pagnuzzi.
Leo Alves Vieira's debut as a composer was at the XV Biennial of Brazilian Contemporary Music, 2003 at Baden Powell (copacabana, Rio de Janeiro), with the piece Estilhaços-Constante Volta ao Indeterminado (2002) for acoustic and electronic instruments, played by OFELEX.
