they had a pretty cool photo session and interview for the Noise last night. look for the issue in June.
they have a record release show coming up, as well (album recorded by Farhad of Night Ralley)... and i just recieved the tshirts we'll be printing up to sell at the show.
so yea, they've been busy.

PILES
The veins draining the anal region usually lie just under the mucous membrane lining of the lowest part of the rectum and the anus. Persistent straining during the act of defecation usually raises the pressure in the veins as a result of which they swell and protrude through the anal opening.
The exact cause of piles is not known. However, they are mainly seen in those who suffer from chronic constipation, either due to low fiber diet or due to constant straining at passing stools. A positive family history is often obtained and is related to congenital weakness of vein walls.
Any condition which causes excessive straining such as chronic cough and bronchitis, obesity, lifting heavy weights, raises the intra abdominal pressure and the incidence of piles. Physiological hemorrhoids (piles) are also seen during pregnancy when the pressure of the growing baby and the uterus gives rise to piles. It should be noted that this is a reversible condition and should not be operated. Other causes could be abdominal tumors, liver disorders and high blood pressure.
Chronic constipation invariably is the major cause of piles as the need to strain usually arises because waste product of low fiber foods creates small hard stools. These injure the mucous lining of the arms as they pass through. They do not pass easily and nearly every act of defecation can put a damaging strain on the anus. By and large pain or bleeding associated with passing stools is thought to be piles but it is not always so. The other two important causes could be a fissure or cancer of the rectum/colon. Ulcerative colitis is also another cause.
Usually the bleeding from piles is a squirt or drip with passage of stools like a "splash in the pan". It could also be like a smear of bright blood on the paper at the end of defecation. Dark blood, clots, profuse bleeding and blood mixed with stools usually suggest that the bleeding is coming from higher up and not from piles.
To prevent piles :-
Ensure that there is adequate roughage (bran, whole grains, green vegetable, and fruits) in your diet.
Avoid alcohol, tea, coffee and very spicy food
Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily preferably non-refrigerated.
If your life style is sedentary include some exercises in your daily routine.
Get yourself treated for any condition that is causing you to strain such as chronic cough
Attend to nature's call daily and do not postpone the urge to defecate, but do not sit for too long in the toilet.
Maintain god hygiene and keep the anal area dry learn to relax mentally and regularize your life style

i am not being a dickhead. put yourself in our situation. we are sitting at my house waiting for you to call (like you have the past two times we went in.) we wait until it's about time to leave and try to call you to tell you we are on our way, we dont hear back from you.... at all. no phone calls were made to either of us. maybe you tried my old phone? but trever's is still the same.

Well chris, if you really wanna be a dickhead about it, go ahead. You can leave me all the rude messages you want... but i'm not like your other friends and i really just dont care. I was wanting around all day to hear from you or trever. I called your phone in the afternoon, but like 95% of the time, you dont return phones calls.
I could of cared less if you guys where there or not would of made no difference to me. The fact of the matter is, i thought i was doing Piles a favor to get you guys some good q*****y recordings. I believe its your responsibitly to contact ME, not the other way around. And i'm sure you and trever were waiting till mindnight for me to call, when you guys cant even stay an extra hour to get the vocals done on time or an extra 15 minutes to get a rough mix.
So keep your self Righteousness to yourself, cause i dont put up with petty s**t.

sorry to everyone about that last show at PA's. We're gonna do a show there in July with Tristan da Cunha, but probably never again. The only reason I even wanna play that one is because they're our friends...
Anyway, SAH was unbelievable and CH ruled as always and those Malebloods are a really awesome band too.

well, yr favourite band ever, PILES, just keeps on keepin on, with such other news as:
1. we have a new song...its top secret, but i CAN tell you this: its fuking awesome.
2. if you read the previous message, you would see the sweet a$$ shows we got coming up, including our first time doing not only a "festival" type scene, but also our first time playing in a bowling alley.
3. we will have all kinds of songs recorded (for real) by the end of August by the three different people i mentioned in our dvd
4. the dvd i just referenced is in a primitive state of done (Speaking Posthumously)
5. we havent broken up since the last time, so i think all is well.

Hey all, haven't been around and I am sorry for that, after uncle passed things seemed to fall apart a bit. Fell into some monetary and transportation troubles and was unable to make it to October show (Damnit..) Fortunately I am now back on track and doing well....engaged actually, if you can imagine that. Last I was on there was speak of new piles stuff at the end of Sept...anything new on this? Sorry to have p**sed someone off yet again, I give up, honestly, was that really necessary? I think piles rocks. I've been to see them live. I'm wicked psyched they've got a show coming up and I was planning on going with a few of my friends I have been sampling Piles tunes for. I hate to not go, but I don't want to risk the chance of meeting you. That f**king burned man.
I've actually known one of them for years. And the talent I've seen in this kid is paralleled by few other musicians I have ever persoanlly met in my life(you know who you are, Rush yay!). I even had the great opportunity of meeting all the guys in the band, and they're all really great guys. The reason I posted that s**t was that I had said I was gonna make the Oct. show with more people and I couldn't. I had actually discussed it somewhat with someone in the band through the messageboard. I felt like a dick so I wanted to explain. chris got a videotape of the northampton show. you guys were really great, despite how drunk you guys were and despite the fact that there were maybe two people in the audience. there was a funny part at the end where you can see the owner saying you're done while standing directly in front of the camera. also, trever manages to get completely undressed even though there was not the usual female call for it. hilarious. we should hold a viewing for all to see.

there is a big key difference between this round of bullsh!t and the one that happened about a year ago...
all of last years "dirty laundry" that was aired was on our (PILES) crappy little message board that maybe 10 fuking people read...
and i was all p**sed off about the fact that i was being censored by the illustrious guitar PILE...sure, maybe people didnt need to read that i was homeless and looking for a place to crash, chris, sure...but who the hell are you to censor anybody?
but im getting off topic now....
so the key difference is this:
last year was on our message borad, it had to do with PILES, and it more or less stayed in the family, so to speak.
this time, chris has gone completely behind my back to air grievances in a forum that i am certain more people read than the PILES message board.
i got the email that you sent, and didnt have a chance to respond...dont have the internet like everyone and there mothers...sorry, pal.
i guess making a call on the phone is harder than it is to type up a bunch of slander about yr "best friend" and yr drummer...
i may try that slander thing, but for now i'll just stick to fighting fire with fire...but still with more fuking restraint than some.
well, as much as i can offer is this:
chris, mike, and myself need to get together and have a few drinks and discuss (in a public place) what the fuk we are going to do about this all.
that is my simple suggestion.
