Robert Scott

Biography

Robert Scott is an award-winning master pianist and music educator with over fifteen years of professional performing, composing, and teaching experience. Robert has composed for film and television both here and in the United States. His credits include music for CITY TV, CTV, CBC radio, and the N.A.S.A. space agency He has recorded and toured with such noted entertainers as Bill Cosby, guitar icon Jeff Healey, international singing star Michael Buble, and many more. Robert was also the co-host and musical director for Comedy Central's "Chez Carla" - a nationally-televised weekly variety show that aired 2001-2002.

Robert was trained on scholarship at the prestigious Berklee School of Music, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music. He also holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, where he was awarded Music Education Innovator of the Year. Robert is an inspiring teacher with experience instructing all ages and backgrounds. His highly personal and passionate style has garnered praise and respect from all corners of the industry.

From 2001-2004 Robert also worked full-time as Michael Buble's pianist, and this past November Robert spent time in Vancouver with Michael writing together. The resulting collaboration - (the "Hollywood" song) - Michael plans to record this year.
