[Refraktor Magazin]-+-x-+-(Out of the U.S. is the second Album of the 1-Mann Projekt SEALED IN SILENCE. Curious I inserted the CD and pressed play. Already in short time I was totally astonished and at the same time excited and enthused. SEALED IN SILENCE makes brilliant apocalyptic EBM with also ambient/noise influences. The mastermind behind the music can be compared to Wumpscut, Sielwolf, and Yelworc. There are even german dialogue samples from the film “Stalingrad” as well as from other diverse films.....therefore if one would like to hear good american underground EBM this is the band to try to obtain . I for my part am by the musical creating of SEALED IN SILENCE really very, very enthused!!

Sealed in Silence Raphael is the brains behind this band. the cd Stille lst Selbstmord film noir-esque. Picture Cold Meat Industry meets surreal landscapes and encounters frankenstein, hitler and phantom of the opera all at once.A cd that is not like others.
Track one Todeswunsch is very haunting very Leatherstrip-esque filled with samples and machine gun sounds demented church choirs high octave sounds and voiceovers of screaming and electronic technology overpowering everything. Track twoTodeslast female vocals singing a requiem for the dead. with a hint of electro making it an electro funeral for the dead. Ethereal symphonies meets a new revolution. Track six Todesangst hammer meets metal sounds very heavy drum machine heavy machinery taking over the primitive. For we have evolved technology is everywhere and will reign. Over all this cd conquers the conformist way. It is by all means as original as it gets. The band has distrubution in northamerica United States Darkland Music Cold Noir Facilty records. It also has distrubtion in Germany Europe also. This band originated in Germany we are glad to have them here where they belong. Incorporating sound scapes film noir german expressionism and making it flow with futurisic elements now that's talent. 4 stars

SEALED IN SILENCE - Following a track like Blasting Agent should be a task, but within the first thirty seconds Sealed in Silence already took over my mind, with lovely, slow warping, flanging and sliding chords and dirtily distorted huge bass overloading beats. The intro to this thoroughly hypnotizes and has me listening, closed eyes, letting my fingers do the typing and my brain 100% concentrating on the awesomely overpowering sounds. This is pure hypnosis in its finer form, and after recently listening to a lot of Goa Trance for the first time in a long while, this is perfect. ARTIST DESCRIPTION: Born under the cold winter isolation begins the existence of S!S mastermind unknown. Raised partially in Germany “the Fatherland” and Amerika “the Killingland”. Cicatrix Manet (for the scar still remains) a childhood of dark insurrection, deep depression exposed to self-inflicted visions of death and annihilation. These mortal thoughts have led our unlikely anti-hero to thrust him self upon the scrap-metal heap of degeneration our society has come to expect. Transference of this morbid fear, anger, disgust, mortality, death in trust, and the list could go on is the manifestation you hear ringing between your very ears. Allow the transference to become complete and spread the eternal disease we call life. Feel and taste the resurrection and cleansing we call death in turn. Say what you will but this has been the “gospel” preached by the religious to the christ-hating atheists from the beginning of this worthless time, why not just continue the static noise traveling through this god/satan-forsaken solar system. If this makes no sense to you then he has made his non-existent, non-important, non-F#!@$K everyone who cares point. Lastly take the music of sealed in silence to heart, for tomorrow you may have none.
